I had the honor and privilege to be a photographer amongst others to capture the beautiful people of La Cumbiamba Colombiana at the Carnaval SF on Sunday May 25th 2025. So many colorful and wonderful moments captured. Here you go. I hope you love them. If you use any please tag me and give me photo credit if you do. The cool part about doing photography is that I get to meet a lot of interesting human beings like these two and I love that.

In Downtown Fresno, Ca around spring/summer time. When its nice enough to go out in a tank top, a nice pair of shorts and some sandals or some stylish sneakers. Natives and non-natives gather together and walk around Fulton St. enjoying the sounds of Dj’s playing dope melodic sounds to dance or vibe to and visual stimulation of many art forms.

Whether it being canvases in different mediums, sculptures or photo galleries and also artwork being hosted by small business owners to draw new faces to there business and also an opportunity for artist/photographers to sell some work of there own during this event. There are boutique shops, thrift stores (Thrift Demon) and little hole in the wall restaurants. Street vendors also come out and settle in there spots along the busy sidewalks of Fulton St. While all those who walk up and down Fulton St. with a worked up appetite end up following their noses to the aromas of food trucks luring these hungry outgoing souls. Food trucks (Dab Tacos, La Jacka Mobile) vary from Mexican; American; Indian; Japanese and Vegan trucks.

Art Hop happens every 1st Thursday of the month. As far as I know Art Hop has started way back in the early or maybe even in the mid 2000’s (That’s around the time I ended up going). Art Hop has grown and continues to get bigger and more attention throughout the years. It use to just be two spots that I remember. It was Broadway Studios, the Art House and Arte America (Never went there till like 2010). A couple years back I decided while at Art Hop that I would capture one hundred strangers that are out n about. My process of choosing who I was going to capture was based on features and style. I tried my best to not stick to a certain body type or look. I was looking for a variety to add to this project. So here it is a few years later. Hey, its never to late right?! Haha

Game 2 for Mexico against Saudi Arabia for the Worldcup 2022 in Qatar. Went to CHUCKCHANSI PARK to watch the game with friends and other fans. Started it off with a glass of fine Ruby Red Port wine with the bros (Yes, Hella bougie. I know. I even brought wine glasses Hahaa). Had some Michas, Tacos and some more beverages. Met some cool people made some new connections (Ya’ll know who you are). The horns were blowing, cowbells were ringin’ and these lil wooden noise crankers were crackling. Most fans were dressed up with pride in the Mexico attire. I got to capture some photos of the fans out here. Just to document this day ya know.

Mexico started off great the first half scoring 2 points. I think all the fans were feeling that we just might take this W and advance to the knock out rounds. Going into the second half we still needed to score 2 more points to qualify. We had two opportunities to score but they were flagged offsides. Saudi Arabia came back and scored 1 point which took our chances away. Even though we won the game. According to the crazy point system we did not qualify to the next round. Mexico out for the first time in years not making it to the Knockout rounds. This might also be the last time all these quality players will be playing together ever again.

Well what do you do? You go eat some Don Tacha Tacos. There’s nothing some tacos can’t fix. Until the next Copa Mundal. Viva Mexico guey!!!
